Valentín Vallhonrat
artistic co-director of the Museo Universidad de Navarra.
Visual artist, photographer and expert in editing and conservation of artistic photography. Artistic co-director of the Museo Universidad de Navarra. His work has been exhibited in museums such as the Museo Español de Arte Contemporáneo in Madrid(Tender Bridges at PHotoEspaña in 2007), the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Sevilla, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Room for love in 2000), the National Museum of Photography in Bradford, Palau de la Virreyna in Barcelona (Vuelo de ángel in 2004) and in galleries such as Elba Benitez in Madrid (Moonlight in 2003), and Visorde Valencia. He studied Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid. From 1986 he collaborated as a fashion photographer with Vogue in its German, English, Portuguese, Italian and Japanese editions, working on numerous national and international advertising campaigns. In 1990 he won the award Cecil Beaton photography award. In addition to his work staff , in the 1990s he managed a photographic laboratory specialising in high quality photo editions for multiple exhibitions worldwide. In partnership with Rafael Levenfeld since 1996, he has developed an important work of file and conservation of photographic collections. Together they have curated multiple exhibitions and have been responsible for the edition of numerous books.
