Technology and creativity
Just a few decades ago, ideas such as carrying a large Library Services on a small device, chatting face-to-face with loved ones miles away or having robots to perform complex surgical operations sounded like science fiction. Today they are realities, and more and more amazing new developments are being added every day.
The advance of technology has brought about an enormous revolution. It has transformed everyday life in all sectors, from medicine to communications, business, commerce, transport... It has also turned around the way we work and interact with family and friends.
His development also presents challenges that cannot be ignored. Technology is not an end for people, but a means to help them live better lives through the optimisation and simplification of processes. Therefore, critical reflection is required to encourage responsible use, aimed at social innovation, the production and dissemination of knowledge, the generation of meaningful connections for people and the promotion of fairer societies, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens.
Technology is the fruit of human intelligence and creativity. A better understanding of how humans can innovate and bring different approaches will also inspire better solutions that are more respectful of human dignity, especially in the field of artificial intelligence.
