The group- internship t for the “ subject ” course in the 4th-year “Fiction Production II (Film)” program consists of writing and producing a fictional short film with a maximum runtime of five minutes. Each group forms a production team of ten people that must complete the work within a workshop of filming and at a single location. Each student takes on a role within the various Departments: production, directing, cinematography, sound, art, and editing. It is also the students’ responsibility to carry out the casting process, including the search for and selection of their cast.
The preliminary steps—scriptwriting and planning—are carried out in the screenwriting and directing courses by writing a script of no more than five pages and creating a filmed animatic. In the two weeks leading up to filming, two meetings are held with the professor supervising the project, to whom the pre-production documents must be submitted. And in the two weeks following filming, a submission is conducted on the different edit versions until the final version final is reached, along with the corresponding post-production of video and audio.
" internship " concludes with a screening in one of the large lecture halls, attended by the participating actors and the professors who are part of the " subject."
