In the Final Project ( work , or TFG) for the Audiovisual Communication program at Degree , students comprehensively apply the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired throughout the program degree program. These projects, which are developed at group, involve the conception, development , and production of an audiovisual project —whether fiction or nonfiction, in the format of a short film or pilot episode—with a higher level of complexity than that of previously completed projects.
In this program, students carry out the various phases of an audiovisual project —from the concept and script development stages through filming and post-production—while taking on the responsibilities of key professional roles—screenwriter, producer, director, director, etc.—to work on an audiovisual production project , making creative, organizational, financial, technical, and ethical decisions to achieve the right balance between time, cost, and quality.
Although the TFG project is carried out during the second semester of the final academic year, from January to April, the process begins at the start of the first semester , when all projects are presented. This marks the start of a selection process, which includes a script, a dossier, and a pitch, and concludes with the advertisement of the selected projects in November.
The premiere of the final projects from " Degree " takes place as part of the " framework " at the annual gala for the KINO AWARDS. At this event, which takes place every April in the auditorium of the University of Navarra Museum before an audience of more than 700 guests, the various short films are screened, and the awards ceremony is held, during wh submission awards—bestowed by a jury of prominent audiovisual professionals—are presented to the best works.
The TFG short films produced by Fcom-UNAV typically feature top-tier professional actors and actresses and have been prominent on the national and international festival circuits for many years, earning numerous official selections and awards.
