Sigma - Global Nursing Excellence
The Sigma Theta Tau International Honorary Society of Nursing (Sigma) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to mission statement support and accompany leading nurses in their respective fields, in order to help them optimize the care they provide, improving their corresponding health indicators. Founded in 1922, Sigma has more than 135,000 active members in more than 100 countries at programs of study higher education and healthcare institutions on five continents.
Sigma's members include clinical nurses and nurse managers, academic nurses, faculty and researchers, and senior nursing students. All are working to implement Sigma's vision of creating networks of nurse leaders who can transform health care globally.

CHAPTER IN NAVARRA
The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra has become the first affiliate in Spain of the SIGMA Honorary Society. These affiliates, which are called chapters, have the task of disseminating and promote nursing leadership among all professionals, academics, researchers and students who are members.
From the School, we have opted to form our own SIGMA headquarters, in order to foster connections with other nursing leaders, as well as to provide ample opportunities for the professional development of our members.
WHO CAN BE A MEMBER OF THE CHAPTER?
Anyone wishing to join the University of Navarra chapter should formally submit their application to committee with the following documentation:

Once the application has been evaluated, if it is accepted, the committee address will contact the candidate to notify him/her of the resolution. The registration fee is 100 US dollars (US$), and the annual renewal fee is 110 US dollars (US$).
