The knowledge and experience acquired during the research work of staff of the department of Zoology and Ecology of the University of Navarra, allows us to offer a range of scientific services that can be grouped into the following points:

1) Elaboration and monitoring of Projects. 

- Revegetation
- Singular Plant Production
- Soil Ecology
- Forest ecology

2) Animal identification
Service offered by Dr. Enrique Baquero, with extensive experience in the identification of animals causing pests (especially pest insects), parasites (including those present in foodstuffs such as meat, fish, etc.). Further information.

3) Scan ning Electron Microscopy (SEM). This service is an important service tool for the observation and study of dry samples at high magnification (50 to 50,000) *.

* _{Currently only desiccation and shading is carried out, due to the breakdown of the electron microscope}.

This service offers the possibility of preparing samples for SEM observation. It is possible to prepare dry samples of any nature (particles, metal surfaces, fibrous material, plant components, animals or animal parts, etc.), for observation of their surface at high magnifications (between 50 and 50,000).

Equipment
- Critical point (replacement of ethanol with carbon dioxide or CO2) for total desiccation.
- Shader: Emitek K550 Sputter-Coater for gold, gold-palladium or carbon.

Rates
- Critical point from 100 % ethanol to liquid CO2: 60 euros
- Shading: 36 euros
These amounts will be increased by 20 % for indirect costs and VAT. In the event that it is necessary to fill in the programs of study with any procedure not included in this offer, both parties will agree on the corresponding conditions.

All the work will be carried out by Dr. Enrique Baquero, who has a wide experience in handling samples of a very different nature. If the work performed is part of a published work (article or thesis ), it should be cited as external certification credits.
