The department publishes the Zoological Series of the Biology Publications of the University of Navarra.
Although Zoological Series accepts diverse works on Fauna, Ecology and Systematics, its particular scope are systematic or ecological works whose scope is mainly Navarre and neighbouring regions; general taxonomic monographs which, due to their length, cannot be published in other specialised journals, and series of articles on fauna and ecology related to each other.
The edition of Zoological Series has been a dual paper/electronic edition since 2005. Papers can be submitted in English or Spanish and are peer-reviewed before acceptance. The publication is bilingual.
