As social beings, we long to forge deep relationships with others through our daily social interactions.
We investigate the subjective and contextual factors that lead us to interact and to do so more effectively. In this regard, digital technology facilitates the establishment and maintenance of connections and is often of great financial aid. However, it can also become a trap that isolates and distances us. The replacement of the physical with the virtual can, in certain cases, lead to social and psychological problems ranging from leave to increased rates of loneliness and distress. Our goal to understand the role that digital consumption and social relationships play in the staff psychological well-being of young people.
