Kids & Teens

Kids & Teens is a research project that studies how to help children and teenagers learn to make the right choices to be happy and have a prosperous life. Through this research, we seek to accompany young people, their families and school organizationsfaculty, high school principals...), social organizations and communities, so that they can have the best life possible: a happy, successful life, with good relationships and memorable experiences and where they make healthy choices.

From a new paradigm, that of development assets, the project aims to promote positivedevelopment in the population of children and adolescents. These assets represent those factors -both internal and external- that act as essential "vitamins" for the integral wellbeing of children and adolescents. This model has been validated by different international research projects and offers a rigorous and endorsed conceptual framework . In order to apply this model , it is necessary to validate the tools that measure development assets in our context. Therefore, in the first phase of the project, the following objectives are proposed:

To study the association between development assets, happiness in high school school and the risk behaviors indicated in goal 02.
