Life and immortality
PROJECT FINISHED
This project has a markedly anthropological character. One could say with Eugen Fink that it aims to be a "cosmological anthropology" that wants to address some aspects of human existence in which religious experience is sample relevant.
a. the idea of life, between religion, biology and technoscience; in particular, the questioning of the privileged position of human life in the universe as a whole and the idea of immortality will be studied;
b. the idea of pragmatist knowledge of the new time as opposed to rationalism;
c. the possibilities of freedom; particularly Fink's idea of play as model to understand some features of human freedom and man's "religious" way of relating to the world.
d. the frontiers of contemporary art and its relation to humanism and transhumanism.
