We offer a unique sociocultural course that helps students improve their interpersonal oral and written communication skills in just 3 weeks. The courses are based on active student participation. Students are expected to engage in interactive small- and large-group activities. 

The various assignments presented in class will require students to use Spanish in a variety of situations that reflect the use of different varieties of Spanish. Students also develop critical thinking and creative skills through a final digital storytelling project. 

All students enrolled in a course taught in Spanish must complete an online Spanish language placement test. This test is sent to students once their enrollment is confirmed.

The following fees and percentages represent the amounts that will be charged or withheld from the amounts paid, not the amounts to be refunded.

• Cancellations through April 18: 100€ per student (application fee) + 10% of tuition + 25% of accommodation costs 

• Cancellations between April 19 and May 16 (inclusive): 100€ per student (application fee) + 50% of tuition + 100% of accommodation fees 

• Cancellations between May 17 and May 23 (inclusive): 100€ per student (application fee) + 75% of tuition + 100% of accommodation 

• Cancellations after May 23: No refund

Accommodation Options for Summer Program Participants

The University of Navarra recommends the following two housing options for students participating in the Summer Program. You may choose whichever best suits your preferences and budget. Audiovisual materials with AI tools.

The program is open to undergraduate students currently pursuing a degree in any academic discipline. Students from all fields of study are welcome to apply, regardless of their current major. 

No prior knowledge of Spanish is required. The program offers Spanish courses at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students will be placed in the
appropriate level based on their Spanish proficiency. 

The Spanish Language & Culture course awards 6 ECTS credit credits (equivalent to 3 U.S. credits). Students are encouraged to check with their home university to confirm how these credits will be recognized and transferred.

No, accommodation and meals are not included in the program fee. Students are responsible for arranging and paying for their own accommodation and meals during their stay in Pamplona. Further information about accommodation options can be found in the Accommodation section above.
