Languages and levels

The first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year we offer the following subjects at the workshop Open Doors:

Studying Chinese opens the way to different important fields such as politics, Economics, business, history or archeology. China is one of the oldest and richest cultures in the world, with more than 5,000 years of history. It is also the second most populous nation in the world, with 1.4 billion people. Mandarin Chinese is the native language language of more than 1.1 billion people. Knowing Chinese can give you an advantage when competing for an important position, but more importantly, studying Chinese and its culture will help you establish a level of understanding with the Chinese community that is crucial for effective communication.

Russian is the eighth most widely spoken language language in the world, with more than 258 million speakers, including 170 million native speakers., and one of the six official languages of the United Nations. As the common language of a large part of Eurasia, Russian opens many doors, mainly in politics, diplomacy, law, Education, business, intelligence and national security.

Portuguese is one of the most widely spoken Romance languages in the world, with more than 223 million speakers. The language covers the 4 continents, being language official in Portugal, Brazil, Angola and Mozambique among other countries. It is also the language of work and/or official in important international organizations such as the African Union, the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries language , the European Union, Mercosur, the Organization of American States and the Organization of Ibero-American States.

How do I register?

You do not need to registeryou can simply attend during the first two weeks of semester to the subject you are interested in. However, the capacity at classroom is limited, so it is recommended that you write to it is recommended that you write beforehand to the teacher beforehand to guarantee your place. After the first two weeks of semester, if you want to continue at subject, you will have to formalize the enrollment.
