The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition launched in 2010 the first classroom of Pharmacy internship of all Spain and in 2018 was the first School to perform the assessment by Competences (ECOE) to its final year students.
INNOVATION AT THE SERVICE OF TEACHING
Since its inception, School Pharmacy and Nutrition has been committed to innovation focused on the benefit of student. It was the first School in Spain to launch a pharmacy classroom internship and to carry out the assessment by Competences (ECOE) to its final year students.
CAREER GUIDANCE
The School is supported by 120 companies that collaborate to facilitate internships, placements and employment. Students receive throughout the Degree career guidance , training in professional competencies and preparation to pass selection processes.
INTERNSHIPS FROM FIRST YEAR
training based on the acquisition of professional skills: more than 40% of the classroom hours are devoted to internships at laboratory from the first year and in small groups.
INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION
The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition promotes and encourages mobility programs among all its students and professors. To this end, it maintains agreements with 80 universities and international institutions of solid prestige in which to acquire new competencies and skills core topic for the development staff and professional.

Core Curriculum: teaching how to think
The Core Curriculum is the set of transversal subjects included in all the Degrees of the University of Navarra. Through them, it is intended to offer a humanistic Education , to promote the spirit of solidarity, as well as to develop the critical capacity to freely form one's own convictions.
MUCH MORE THAN A DEGREE
We accompany the student in all stages of his or her life
80% of the students participate in counseling, a service of accompaniment throughout the Degree in which the academic staff of the School is actively involved. In addition, the School offers the possibility of taking several specialized diplomas in different aspects of both the Degree in Pharmacy and the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
We belong to a biomedical campus formed by 4 Schools, 3 centers of research (Cima, research center Applied Medical; CIFA, research center in Applied Pharmacology; CIN, research center in Nutrition) and a health center, the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

CLASSROOM PHARMACY INTERNSHIP
Pilot-scale drug manufacturing
Since its creation, School Pharmacy and Nutrition has been committed to innovation focused on the benefit of student. Thus, it was one of the first Schools to have its own pilot plant for pharmaceutical production. It was a pioneer in the delivery of the programs of study in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and the first to offer the Double Degree in Pharmacy + Nutrition. In 2010 it launched the first classroom in Pharmacy internship in all of Spain and in 2018 it was the first School to carry out the assessment by Competences (ECOE) to its final year students.
Beyond the classrooms
DEVELOPMENT STAFF AND PROFESSIONAL PLAN
Every year, more than 50 activities, including sessions and workshops, are carried out as part of a development staff and professional plan. Thanks to this, our 700 students at Degree can develop skills, values and attitudes that facilitate their future employment rate and development staff plenary session of the Executive Council .
CENTER FOR NUTRITION RESEARCH
The School has its own research center on issues related to Nutrition and Health to address obesity problems. It transfers the results of the research to the industry, especially the food and pharmaceutical industries, in order to improve their productivity and support the development of new food products.
NEW COURSE OF POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM
Master's Degree at management Sustainable and Nutritional Innovation in Food Businesses
With this Master's Degree you will be able to integrate and cooperate in interdisciplinary teams dedicated to development and the innovation of new food products, aimed at health care, in companies of the food sector and whose production is sustainable.
