Chasing eclipses: an achievable adventure

Chasing eclipses: an achievable adventure

Taught by: Mónica Ruiz Palacios

Would you like to embark on a journey that will connect you with the cosmos? Eclipses are unique events in which the Sun, Moon, and Earth align, and the play of light and shadow they create brings these moments to life, which we cannot miss.

In our family workshop, "Chasing Eclipses," we learn everything you need to know about these events, with a approach on solar eclipses, that magical moment when the Moon covers the Sun, turning day into night for a few minutes.

We will explore together:
⊙ What a solar eclipse is and how it occurs
⊙ What special conditions must be met for it to occur
⊙ How and where they can be safely observed
⊙ What instruments or elements we need to do so without risk
⊙ The lunar eclipse and how it differs from the solar eclipse.

In addition, we will provide some practical ways to prepare for and safely "hunt" eclipses, making this a great plan for the whole family!
