scientific knowledge dissemination

Science occupies an increasingly prominent place in the media and among the interests of citizens. Our School has an enormous potential to generate scientific knowledge and, therefore, one of our objectives is to promote the knowledge dissemination and scientific and research culture developed by all the people and entities that make up this center.
We want to bring the benefits of science closer to society and make scientific advances more accessible to the general public, especially to young people, in order to awaken in them an interest and vocation for science, both for the Basic Sciences and for more applied aspects.
The University of Navarra's Science Museum of the University of Navarra (formed by the Zoology Museum and the Natural Sciences Collection) was created in 1998 and includes among its exhibits a zoological and botanical collection, a section of minerals, rocks and fossils, and a sample of old containers, texts, tools and apparatus once used in pharmacy, chemistry and photography.
