Activities organised by the School of Science

  • Science WeekScience Week: Every year in November, the School joins the events organized throughout Spain to bring science closer to the general public and to students in particular. Conferences, "Touch Chemistry" workshops, organized visits to the Museum of Natural Sciences and the Applied Medical research center CIMA), and an experimentation workshop for high school diploma students are the main activities.

  • World Environment Day: On the occasion of the annual celebration of this event, the School and the group of Environmental Volunteers will take to the streets of Pamplona on a Saturday in June to show copies of its Museum of Natural Sciences and at the same time give environmental Education workshops for children, including drawings, cut-outs, animal figures with beads, animal observation with a magnifying glass, etc. This activity is organized in partnership with the City Council of Pamplona and with the sponsorship Caja Rural de Navarra.

  • Science Olympiads: The School organizes the autonomic phases of the Biology Olympiads y Chemistrythe latter with the the Officialhigh school of Chemists of Aragón and Navarra and the Public University of Navarra.

  • Every two years, the School organizes update courses in laboratory practices for teachers of Biology y Chemistry of ESO and high school diploma.
