Addiction and frustration

The general goal is to determine whether the frustration may be acting as a mediating variable between the personality features and the rate of withdrawal and relapses in users of the educational-therapeutic program that offers project Man. The correlation that may exist between the personality traits already studied, the current dropout rate and relapses and the frustration tolerance is intended to be the basis for new personalized therapeutic strategies that will result in a higher success rate and a lower relapse rate and a lower rate of withdrawal.

The research 'Addiction, personality and frustration tolerance: a neuropsychological study in subjects attached to project Hombre' was funded by the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality of the Government of Spain (Ref. 2016/057).
