The goal of this project of research is to analyse the prevalence of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa, by assessing the socio-demographic factors, knowledge, perceptions and sexual behaviours associated with the infection. In addition, the project aims to study the impact that different prevention strategies can have on changing the knowledge and behaviours of the population.
This research is carried out together with the Tropical Health Institute of the University of Navarra.
