The TOEFL iBT Test (Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-Based Test) is a globally recognized test. This test evaluates your ability to understand and use English in an academic environment. It is an essential tool in both academic and professional settings.
The TOEFL iBT tests reading, listening, speaking and writing skills in English through four sections:
READING
It includes approximately 20 questions to be completed in 35 minutes. It features reading comprehension activities based on texts from everyday life and academic contexts, as well as fill in exercises within a text.
LISTENING
This section consists of approximately 28 questions to be completed in 36 minutes. It features conversations, announcements, and academic lectures in which the candidate demonstrate their listening comprehension by answering various types of questions.
SPEAKING
It includes 4 tasks to be completed in approximately 16 minutes. The candidate listen, repeat information, and participate in activities similar to oral interviews to demonstrate their ability to communicate in English.
WRITING
It consists of 3 tasks that take about 29 minutes to complete: a training exercise, an essay task, and a writing activity for an academic discussion.
You will receive a score section, as well as a scoreon a scale of 1 to 6.
The TOEFL iBT Test lasts 2 hours (it is recommended to add an extra 30 minutes for review).
