Documentary Screening - The Caretakers
As part of the activities organized to celebrate Science Week, the Science Museum of the University of Navarra has organized the"Science and Biodiversity" cycle, a cycle dedicated to exploring the relationship between science and biodiversity through film and specialized talks.
Three sessions will address both the conservation of nature and its impact on urban environments and its ability to inspire innovation. The series aims to open a window on biological diversity, from its protection to its ability to inspire us.
On this occasion, Professor Enrique Baquero, researcher of Biodiversity and Environment Institute -BIOMA- of the University of Navarra, will moderate and intervene after the screening of the documentary "The Caretakers", by Tom Hanner. A journey into the strange and wonderful lives of the small but powerful creatures that keep the world turning: the beetles. They have been successful for millions of years, but they are in serious trouble: what does the future hold for these incredibly important animals and for us if they disappear?
