Synopsis

"Eternal You" examines the story of people who continue to exist as digital replicas in the devices of their loved ones. With the financial aid of artificial intelligence and Big Data, a dream as old as humanity itself becomes a reality: eternal life.

It is probably the biggest business idea of the digital age. Following tech startups that use an immense amount of data to develop "digital doubles," the documentary sample how these companies promise to immortalize people on Earth.

The film raises several questions, such as these: Can a digital entity compensate for the loss of a loved one? How will the human report be affected? Don't we also have the right to forget?
