In the footsteps of the Romans: 2100 years since the foundation of Pamplona

The year 2025 marks the 2100th anniversary of the founding of Pamplona, the city that houses the University of Navarra, where we are located. In this chapter, in addition to reviewing the milestones of this local celebration, we will address the deep Roman imprint in Navarre, its cultural and architectural bequest , which will help us to better understand our history.
We will do it with Javier Andreu, Full Professor of Ancient History and director of the Diploma in Archaeology at the School of Philosophy and Letters. With him, we will enter the world of archaeology, a fascinating discipline that allows us to look into the past and discover how the civilizations that preceded us lived.
