The PRESEEA (project for the Sociolinguistic Study of the Spanish of Spain and America) is an international project for the creation of a corpus of language Spanish spoken representative of the Hispanic world in its geographical and social variety. The materials are gathered according to the sociolinguistic diversity of the Spanish-speaking communities.
PRESEEA brings together more than 40 sociolinguistic research teams from Spain and the Americas as a result of the coordinated work of researchers committed to a common methodology, with the aim of assembling a coherent bank of materials that can be applied for linguistic, ethnographic, educational and technological purposes.
According to the issue of inhabitants of the city of Pamplona we are collecting, for the purposes of the macro project and as a starting point, 54 semi-directed interviews stratified according to age, sex and Degree of education of the speakers. The PRESEEA-Pamplona corpus will be available in open access and free of charge.
Detailed information on the teams, the common methodology and the different programs of study that have been carried out so far can be found on the project website: https: //preseea.uah.es/.
