Creative practices are a natural place for the integration of culture, history and individual and social identity, and a privileged space for the generation of social bonds. In this line of work, attention is paid, in the first place, to artistic practices as modes of expression of the human condition and as a space for meeting and communication with the other. Artistic practices and processes are examined in their historical aspect and significance (comprehensive understanding of the past) and in their possible dialogue with the present (recovery and update of the artistic heritage; programs of study curatorial).
Likewise, our research takes creativity as a constant of human action and cognition, which move between stable (habits) and innovative (creation) patterns and processes, and between the satisfaction of needs (work, subsistence actions) and the free expression of the spirit (art).
