Singular works
Collection of works with peculiarities such as autographs, annotations by important figures or special bindings.
Some of the highlights of this collection are:
- The bequest of Ernestina de Champourcín and her husband, the writer Juan José Domenchina. She was a friend of Juan Ramón Jiménez, Luis Cernuda, Gerardo Diego and Rafael Alberti, with whom she shared the Generation of '27, rich in dedications.
- Demetrio Castro's poetry collection, rich in dedications. - Recuerdos del tiempo viejo, a work by José Zorrilla dedicated by the author to the wife of Modesto García de Alba.
- The work on Echegaray by Luis Antón del Olmet and Arturo García Carraffa, dedicated to the authors by José Echegaray himself.
- Rimas y sonetos rezagados, dedicated by José Bergamín.
Also included are books dedicated to or by personalities from recent history, such as Santiago Carrillo, Gonzalo Fernández de la Mora, Fraga Iribarne, José María Pemán, López Rodó, Pérez Embid, Calvo Serer, Mario Soares.
How to consult the collection
Locate in Unika the works you wish to consult and request them through the option Obtain/apply for. The requested works can be consulted at conference room of Archive (Library Services Central, seminar 4D) from 8 am to 3 pm.
Requests will be served every hour between 10:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., provided they have been requested at least 30 minutes in advance.
A maximum of 10 volumes can be found at apply for . If you exceptionally need to consult more, please ask the librarian.
