José Manuel Cabrero, Full Professor of the department of Construction, Installations and Structures of the School of Architecture and director of the Chair Madera Onesta has been appointed the Spanish expert representative in the group of work 11 of the Eurocode (CEN/TC 250/SC 5/WG 11), related to the design based on finite elements of Structures of wood.

About José Manuel Cabrero

The architect graduated in 2001 and obtained his doctorate in 2006 (award Extraordinary) from the University of Navarra. He is currently Full Professor and director of department Construction, Facilities and Structures at the same University, as well as being director of the Chair Madera Onesta since 2011. He has developed an independent research line focused on wood structural joints and has been researcher principal in outstanding projects, both national and European.
