We tend to think that climate change, degradation crises or pandemics are things that are yet to come, but in reality they are already happening. We live in a society immersed in misinformation, polarization and political tension. For more than 50 years science has been talking about climate change, which is already here with tremendous dimensions. Some speak of the end of the cycle of current civilization. Science can propose ideas to work towards a more desirable and promising future. We know how to do it, but we have to look at the present to create a different future.
