The University of Navarra's School of Medicine offers a wide-ranging education and goal is designed tohelp our students to practise their profession anywhere in the world and wherever they wish. For this reason, graduates of the University of Navarra, who have obtained level 3 of the framework Spanish Qualifications for Higher Education (MECES Master's level), are eligible to study at specialization program in various countries around the world.
specialization program Graduates who want to practice medicine in Spain must first pass the spanish medical residency program (Médico Interno Residente) exam. According to reports from the Ministry of Health, according to the results of the spanish medical residency program, our School of Medicine is on the "group strong" of the Spanish Schools . Likewise, among the centres for the specialization program in our country is the Clínica Universidad de Navarra C which offers 32 different specialities at Departments and services accredited by the National Specialities Commission, for which it is required to have taken the spanish medical residency program exam.
But beyond Spain, and with more than 12,000 doctors having graduated from the University of Navarra, the #MedUNAV international network continues to grow every year. Our graduates develop their medical careers, in addition to Spain, in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, United Kingdom, United States, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina or Singapore, among others; countries in which our graduates have already demonstrated a very high level of qualification, both in the entrance exams and in medical practice.
The International Careers Office of the School of Medicine offers support to those students and graduates who wish to develop their professional careers outside Spain. The office organises activities that promote the development of professional skills, provides support in the preparation of entrance exams to the residency program abroad and also in the management of the documentation required in the different foreign health systems.

If you have completed your fourth year, you are eligible for an international clinical internship during the summer at one of our partner universities. Students of the International Program have preference in the choice of destinations. If there are any vacancies, they will be offered to students who are not part of this programme.

The next test IFOM will take place in the academic year 2021-2022.
The School of Medicine offers the possibility to take the IFOM, an official exam designed by the NBME. If you have completed your third year, you can register for this test to test your knowledge of basic science before taking the USMLE Step 1.

The International Careers Office offers support with the preparation of documents required for access to foreign healthcare systems. These services include: the application to residency program, management , degree scroll and the procedures required by the ECFMG for access to step 1 and 2 of the USMLE, the entrance exam to residency program in the United States.
