The University has the task of contributing to the education of citizens committed to the development of their environment and who understand their profession as a service to others. The University of Navarra, following the best university traditions, includes in all its syllabuses subjects that offer students the opportunity to consider the great questions of existence, as well as the ethical and deontological foundations of their profession. These subjects develop critical capacity -that is to say, they encourage a love of truth as opposed to the dominance of intellectual fads or exclusive single thinking- and favour a knowledge of the problems that allow each student to form his or her own convictions, in a free and well-founded way.
