The School of Medicine is part of the Biomedical Campus of the University of Navarra, which carries out interdisciplinary and translational work in many fields. This research activity, of international level, is promoted from different Departments and centres, and promotes academic and scientific work that has an impact both on society and on the training of student.

Centre for Applied Medical Research
For its part, the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) plays a decisive role in the biomedical research carried out at the University of Navarra. The CIMA focuses its work on four priority research areas, led by professors from the School: Cardiovascular Sciences, Gene Therapy and Hepatology, Neurosciences and Oncology.
Institute for Culture and Society
In the Institute for Culture and Societyresearch center multidisciplinary focused on the search for scientific answers and innovative proposals that contribute to solving the main challenges of today's society, two projects led by professors from School stand out: Education of affectivity and human sexuality and Human dignity, advanced disease and palliative care.
