The School of Medicine is part of the Biomedical Campus of the University of Navarra, which carries out interdisciplinary and translational work in many fields. This research activity, of international level, is promoted from different Departments and centres, and promotes academic and scientific work that has an impact both on society and on the training of student.

#MedUNAV is closely linked to the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and to research center Applied Medicine (CIMA). Students benefit from this relationship, who not only receive direct training from those who generate Science, but also have the opportunity to participate in research projects through specific diplomas such as research Biomedical.

Centre for Applied Medical Research

For its part, the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) plays a decisive role in the biomedical research carried out at the University of Navarra. The CIMA focuses its work on four priority research areas, led by professors from the School: Cardiovascular Sciences, Gene Therapy and Hepatology, Neurosciences and Oncology
