Welcome to the University of Navarra Nursing School !
With the commitment to train nurses who have a solid human, scientific and professional training , I invite you to join our School and learn how to develop the knowledge necessary to become leaders in nursing, both nationally and internationally.
We are currently living in an exciting period for the nursing profession and discipline . Society demands professionals who can exercise transformational leadership in all the areas in which they work, whether it is in healthcare, professor, researcher or management. The progress of our discipline implies a demand aimed at training nurses at the forefront, who are positioned in leadership positions in any field, and whose work has a direct or indirect impact on the health outcomes and indicators of people and their families.
The School is characterized by its commitment to the development of the research, the teaching and the internship of Nursing. For this reason, we offer a program of Degree program, rated as the best in Spain by many of the indicators analyzed in this regard. At postgraduate program, we are committed to scientific and professional excellence. Thus, we have programs that promote expertise in the exercise of advanced professional internship -"Master's Degree university in internship advanced nursing in oncology"- and the development of knowledge disciplinary in any of its fields -"doctoral program in Nursing Science"-.
Our professors are committed to the values of the University of Navarra, and have extensive international experience that enables them to position themselves in the positions of reference letter in their corresponding fields of knowledge. In addition, many of them are specialists in their clinical area . All this allows their teaching to be expert and current.
We train nurses who can be the architects of positive changes that have an impact on people's health and wellbeing: who promote care centered on the person and their family, who encourage prevention and healthy lifestyles, who favor care for people suffering from chronic processes, who are culturally competent and who preserve life in all circumstances. We also train nurses capable of promoting health policies and who have the necessary skills to position themselves in social discourses and management.
