The Real Estate Alumni Club of the University of Navarra inaugurated the 'Alumni RE Club Talks' on October 27 with a top-level guest: Raúl González, CEO EMEA group Barceló, who gave the session 'The Spanish hotel sector: resilience in dynamic and uncertain environments'.
The meeting, sponsored by Eversheads Sutherland, was held at the University's postgraduate program headquarters in Madrid. During the session, the 81 alumni in attendance learned about Raúl González's vision of attention to customers, core topic for the success of group Barceló; how to grow internationally without losing the local essence; and the importance of relying on data for decision-making, especially in disruptive situations such as Covid.
The meeting also delved into current issues: the metaverse and its ability to enhance the need for real experience, the importance of a greater awareness of the sector in reference letter to sustainability, and the privileged status of the Spanish hotel sector to compete and lead the industry worldwide.
The Club encourages alumni who work in the Real Estate sector to join the Club to keep up to date with its diary of events.
