The project 'Al agua patos' of the K37 Lab studio, composed of Carlos Iraburu Elizalde, Álvaro Oriol, José Rodriguez Losada and Carlos Iraburu Bonafé, alumni of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, has been awarded in the urban innovation laboratory Concéntrico Isla Climática Urbana, in the Felipe VI Park in Logroño.

The goal of the call is the creation of an urban island that proposes a design with Structures or shady areas, planting of trees and natural soft soil spaces, permeable to water, as well as the installation of benches, in order to reduce the temperature at certain points.

This project has been promoted by Concéntrico, in partnership with the Logroño City Council and LIF 2002(Logroño Integración del Ferrocarril). The architectural proposal of the studio will be permanently installed in the hexagonal access to the Felipe VI park in order to mitigate the impact of heat waves.
