The branding and packaging agency LACÍA participates as guest lecturers in the project Packaging and Ergonomics developed in the framework of the subject Form and Matter of the Degree at design.
This project focuses on the design of perfume packaging, challenging students to find a balance between aesthetics and functionality and to showcase the product while ensuring its protection.
The LACÍA team, led by Oliver Gutiérrez, Magda Gómez and Belén García, will accompany the students to turn their creative ideas into functional, sustainable and market-ready designs.
The project seeks the development of innovative solutions using materials such as thin cardboard and PLA, the design of flat packaging that combines aesthetic appeal with the ability to protect the product, and the integration of brand identity with technical excellence, making the design reflect the essence of the product.
Through the concept of folding, cutting and decorating a surface, students must design a package that can hold a specific fragrance bottle. Students will be required to work on several aspects, including: how to convey an identity through the elements they possess, convey technical information, research and select materials, and develop a 3D shape from 2D elements.
