The visit of the architecture students was part of the subject Construction Systems, taught by Professor Joaquín Torres.

Last Tuesday, April 23rd, as a culmination of the Construction Systems subject , the students of 1st year of Architecture made a visit to the new building of 32 supervised apartments in Azpilagaña.

The students were accompanied by Germán Velázquez, one of the architects who designed project, and Íñigo Sainz, Nasuvinsa's technician, at visit to the apartments in Río Alzania street.

The building is very interesting, as it is a nearly zero energy consumption building (nZEB), certificate Passivhaus, and built with cross-laminated timber (CLT) structure. It is one of the first high-rise buildings constructed in Navarra with CLT structure.

In addition, it will have the Ilunion certification of universal accessibility, since it is supervised housing for people over 65 years of age, and is part of the Navarra Social Housing plan.
