The 2nd year students of Degree at design present their proposals at the workshop "Consolidation/Body: traditions and design contemporary".

The workshop was conducted by visiting professor, Paul García de Oteyza

Last week, the 2nd year students of the Degree in design of the School of Architecture presented their proposals for design in the workshop "Consolidation/Body: traditions and contemporary design ", as part of the subject laboratory Integration III.

During the month of September, students worked in groups developing the project graduate "Consolidation/Body: traditions and contemporary design ", directed by designer Paul García Oteyza, visiting professor.

The project consists of designing a fashion intervention inspired by the creative traditions of our culture, through two key approaches: abstraction and texture and ornamentation. The students created pieces using materials such as neoprene and technical fabrics, as well as reused garments, used as a starting point on which to intervene.

The final presentation of the proposals will be on October 21, when the students will show their physical interventions accompanied by sketches, technical data sheets and a dossier summarizing the creative process.
