PRESENTATION
Doing an internship in another country allows university students to develop several of the skills they will need in their future employment rate (flexibility, adaptability, resilience, work in multidisciplinary teams, etc.).
In this context, the School of Education and Psychology, together with the Universidad Austral of Argentina, is launching the International Pedagogy Course .
This course is built on the internship in workshops and the learning of theoretical-practical contents. It is aimed at students of Degree in Pedagogy of the University of Navarra and of the double Degrees in Pedagogy and Education Infant and Pedagogy and Education Primary.
Universidad Austral is a partner institution of the University of Navarra. It is among the two best universities in Argentina and ranks first in the QS World University Rankings management .
Universidad Austral has three locations, in Pilar (headquarters, where the International Course will be held), in Buenos Aires (legal headquarters) and in Rosario.

This program is validated by the Practicum I and II of Pedagogy.
For the course to go ahead, there must be a minimum of 9-10 participants and a maximum of 15.
If a student from another Degree or accredited specialization wishes to participate in the program, he/she must apply through an academic written request .
Important dates to perform the registration
February 2023: opening form web and application by student.
March 2023: ranking of candidates and confirmation of places.
May 2023: candidates are checked for compliance with requirements.
Transportation from the University to the different workshops where students will do their internships is included. The best way to get around in Pilar is by means of what is known there as 'remi', which is a reasonably priced cab.
There is a guide for the students.
As it is a 6-week program, it is not necessary to have a student visa, so you can only enter the country with a tourist visa. It is important to have a passport valid for at least six months in order to enter the country. In case the student is of a specific nationality and therefore needs a letter of invitation, it is possible submit, but it is the student's responsibility to request it from Universidad Austral.
PROGRAM
The course will take place between July 10 and August 18.
The following are the four workshops organized for the students of Pedagogy and the double Degrees of Pedagogy and Education Infant Education and Pedagogy and Education Primary Education.
The content of the program is structured in four modules or workshops. The theoretical contents are essential for the internship and will be dictated linked to each workshop and in the corresponding institutions.
module CECAM and Posta Sanitaria Las Lilas
CECAM (Centro de training y Atención a la Mujer) is a centre of training that promotes the development integral of women. Its goal is to favour the integral training of women by giving them the necessary possibilities to access the development that their dignity as women deserves, thus being agents of change in their families and in society.
La Posta Las Lilas is a social promotion project whose goal is to guarantee and improve the level of individual and collective health of the communities of the Monterrey and Las Lilas neighbourhoods in Derqui, promoting qualitative changes in the attitudes and habits of the population that are directly or indirectly related to health care.
In addition to medical care and other assistance activities, about 90 children between 6 and 12 years of age attend the Posta, where they are offered school support with the aim of stimulating cognitive functions for learning. goal
WORKSHOP 2
module D'Alfonso Centre
The D'Alfonso Vocational Guidance Centre has as mission statement to guide the person in their different life cycles, collaborating in the finding, recognition and evaluation of their talents, for the design of their professional/labour project , based on the construction of their sense of life.
The center is staffed by an interdisciplinary team of professional psychologists and psychopedagogues. Their work consists of carrying out Vocational Vocational Guidance Processes for adolescents, young people and adults.
WORKSHOP 3
module Disability and Vulnerable Schools
Throughout this module , students will develop a hands-on learning experience at the conference room Therapeutic Playroom on Austral University Hospital's paediatrics floor. This is a playful and therapeutic space for children and their families during hospitalisation.
goal The team at conference room de Juegos is made up of two psychologists and two psychoeducators who accompany the child and his/her family during their stay at the hospital, with the aim of making the hospitalization experience as pleasant and friendly as possible for the child. We work from therapeutic play, as well as providing psychoeducation, parental guidance, school follow-up and surgical psychoprophylaxis (preparation for surgeries and procedures).
WORKSHOP 4
ASEMCO Foundation
ASEMCO is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the Education and attendance integral of people with A.S.D.D. (Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and other difficulties under A.B.A. guidelines. (Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and other difficulties of development under the guidelines of A.B.A. (Applied Behavioural Analysis). (Applied Behaviour Analysis).
Its objectives include:
promote outreach for early detection and awareness of A.E.D.T.
To provide an individualised and comprehensive attendance based on A.B.A. (Applied Behavioural Analysis) techniques for children with special educational needs and/or behavioural problems. (Applied Behaviour Analysis) for children with special educational needs and/or behavioural problems.
promote a gradual transition from the individual work educational to social inclusion
train professionals in the field of health and Education at work educational based on A.B.A. techniques.
COST
Students will register at UNAV for Practicum I and Practicum II of Pedagogy. By paying the enrollment of Practicum I and II at UNAV, it is enough and there is no need to pay any other academic cost of enrollment of the summer course at Universidad Austral. Flights and accommodation, as well as meals (food, etc.) are to be paid at position of student.

Welcoming, farewell and closing activity of the programme
