Clinical rotations of students from other universities

The School of Medicine only accepts applications for rotations from students from partner universities.

If your university has an agreement with the University of Navarra Medical School School , it should nominate you as an exchange student. International Office Please contact contact or the person in charge of managing clinical rotations abroad at your university to check the following exchange conditions:

  • Duration of clinical placements.

  • Number of places and months of clinical placements.

  • Expenditure on enrollment and the cost of administrative fees.

For acceptance of clinical rotation applications you must comply with the following requirements:

  • Be nominated by the School of Medicine of origin at least 6 months before starting the clinical internship. In the case of internships in May, June, July and August, the deadline is 31 January.

  • Be student penultimate or final year of medical school.

  • Present the official certificate of B2 Spanish: for students whose language mother tongue is not Spanish.

  • Send the required and complete documentation at least two months before starting the clinical internship. In the case of internships in May, June, July and August, the deadline is 1 March.

Once the nomination has been received, the School will contact the student nominee at contact and send them detailed instructions on how to submit their application for admission via the online platform. 

In addition to identification and academic documents, student will need insurance from attendance for the duration of your stay and you will need to prepare the following supporting documents:

  • A letter of acceptance will be sent to accepted students with their corresponding service names.

  • Upon arrival at the University of Navarra and before starting the clinical practice, the student must go to the Service of mobility to pick up the identification badge and for orientation.

  • Students doing rotations have to apply for to their Clinical Tutor a report evaluation on our form or on the home university.

  • On the last day of their stay they should submit the evaluation report to the Service of mobility and apply for a certificate of stay.
