On Friday, April 4, the roundtable 'Cities: Human Centered Design / Ciudades: la persona en el centro' took place at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra. The meeting proposed a space for reflection and dialogue on the fundamental role of people in urban design and the creation and development of more friendly, sustainable and human environments.
During the workshop, experts in urban planning and design participated, such as Davide Fassifrom the Politecnico di Milano; Roberto San Salvador, from the Chair Cities Lab of the University of Deusto; and the professors of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra Esperanza Marrodán Ciorda y Aitor Acilu. Each presented inspiring cases and innovative experiences that show how the people-centered approach is transforming contemporary cities.
The event concluded with a roundtable discussion moderated by Asier Santas Torresprofessor at the School of Architecture, where attendees were able to exchange ideas and discuss the challenges and opportunities of human-centered urban design .
