Celia García Rubio, fourth year student of Degree at design with accredited specialization at design Product, did her internship at Bygg design VOF in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, during the months of July and August 2024.
During her internship, Celia worked on a project related to the renovation of several rooms of the auditorium of the city of Eindhoven, specifically on a structure located at the main entrance . She was in charge of several tasks and was involved in the entire renovation process, from the initial ideation to the future fabrication and assembly. He assures that being present during the whole process has allowed him to enrich his learning, use digital tools and realize work guide .

Celia comments that being part of a real team and in a professional environment has made her experience more complete, as it goes beyond the application of knowledge and skills acquired so far. "Knowing from the inside how projects are managed, the phases of each one and seeing the real result , with people interacting with it, is rewarding," she says.
Celia did her internship with the scholarship Erasmus+ for stays outside Spain, and says that leaving her country gave her a very enriching experience, allowing her to break with her customs and get to know other realities. In the case of the Netherlands, where design is much more established and is part of people's daily lives, the experience has been fundamental.
Finally, he recommends doing an internship abroad, assuring that "the experience prepares you to know what to expect when looking for work".
