Roi Salgueiro Barrio, former student of the School, represents Spain at the 19th edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale

The architect and former student of the Master's Degree in Architecture, is curator together with Manuel Bouzas of the exhibition 'Internalities: Architectures for Territorial Equilibrium'.

The 19th edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale opened its doors to the public on May 10. In this edition, the architect and urban planner Roi Salgueiro Barrioformer student of the Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Navarretogether with the architect Manuel Bouzas Barcalawill represent Spain with the exhibition "Internalities: Architectures for Territorial Equilibrium". 

This proposal was the winner of the competition for the curatorial and exhibition design of the Spanish Pavilion. The sample examines how architecture can reduce its environmental impact in the production processes, prioritizing the use of local, regenerative and leave carbon footprint resources.

Spain's participation in the Biennial was organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban diary (MIVAU), with the partnership of Acción Cultural Española(AC/E).
