Terminus, beyond criticism': coexistence, social integration and emerging talent

The exhibition compiles the best Final degree program Projects of the Master's Degree degree program in Architecture of the University of Navarra and was inaugurated in Cosentino City Alicante in October.

Twelve architects, alumni the School of Architecture, have designed Madrid's neighborhoods with concrete giants, atypical urban landscapes and spaces that fluctuate between the public and the private. The synergy of these projects makes up the exhibition 'Terminus: beyond critique', a sample that gathers the best works of the Fin de degree program of the Master's Degree in Architecture of the University of Navarra project a decade.

After touring Alicante, Pamplona, Seville, Malaga and Madrid, the sample was inaugurated on October 16 at Cosentino City Alicante, where it was exhibited from October 6 to 27.

During the inaugural event, Marina Galán (MDGAE'24), a former student of the Double Master's Degree in Architecture and Environmental Building design and management , presented her project, 'Apartahotel en Valdecarros', located in Valdecarros (Madrid). The proposal consists of an aparthotel with dual use: residency program for seniors and students. In addition to housing the users, the building seeks to become a nucleus of social convergence, promoting the coexistence of its neighbors. Galán opted for a wooden structure, enhancing the sustainable character of the project, as well as the integration of the plot with a green environment.

After the presentation of 'Apartahotel en Valdecarros', the project was reviewed by Fredy Massad, critic and architect, and Alberto Burgos, from Estudio Alberto Burgos.
