Javier Millán, a design student, shares entrance experience during the visit in this entrance :
"Last Friday, I had the opportunity to visit the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum with my university. It was a very enriching experience during which we were able to tour the exhibition subject andsubject, dedicated to showcasing how materials, techniques, and construction influence the design Cristóbal Balenciaga’s garments. The tour of the museum allowed us to better understand his working methods and observe up close how he manipulated fabrics to create new shapes and volumes in the silhouette.

As Christian Dior said: 'Balenciaga does what he wants with fabrics; we do what we can.' This idea became very clear as we analyzed the pieces on display and came to understand the level of technical mastery that characterized his work. After the visit, we participated in a workshop in the museum’s ateliers where we learned to construct a collar inspired by Balenciaga’s style—an internship activity internship allowed us to apply what we had learned during the exhibition better understand the technical rigor behind each garment.
"Experiences like this are incredibly valuable for design students, as they allow them to connect knowledge with practical learning and gain firsthand insight into how the industry’s leading figures work. I am very grateful to the University of Navarra for organizing visit an inspiring and educational visit ."
