Students from the University of Lima are participating in the International Week on management Madrid

postgraduate program campus of postgraduate program hosted the closing ceremony of the third edition of the specialized course “The Future of National Urban Policies: The Spanish diary ,” an event that concluded a series of activities and sessions focused on Latin America.

From March 23 to 27, Madrid hosted students from Master's Degree management the University of Lima, along with the program’s director, Claudia Consiglieri, coinciding with the closing ceremony of the third edition of the diary Intensive Course offered by the School of Architecture the University of Navarra.

The week’s program focused on the challenges of contemporary urbanism and urban planning on the international stage. Throughout the week, participants discussed the challenges facing Latin American cities, the implementation and future of Spanish diary , as well as the management the city of Madrid and its urban regeneration.

During their stay in Madrid, the students visited the Ministry of Housing and diary (MIVAU), where they attended a session led by the following experts: Sonia Hernández Partal, Deputy Director General for Urban Policy at MIVAU; Elena Calama, Deputy Director General of Architecture at MIVAU; Gonzalo Lacurcia, Planning Specialist at the Global Urban Planning and Design Lab of UN-Habitat; José Ramón Bergasa, Head of the Urban Planning and Services Unit at the Alfaro City Council; and Elena Lacilla, Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Navarra.

The tour continued with stops at the Casa de la Arquitectura and the Metrópoli Foundation, guided by Naiara Vegara, director of Metrópoli CITIESLAB London and Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte, an urban project they examined alongside Alberto Manzano, an architect in project area , project Elena Lacilla, a tenured professor of Urban Planning at the University of Navarra.
