Vicenza is Palladio territory. This city of Veneto and its surroundings gathers the bulk of the Italian master's work: about thirty villas, palaces, theaters, public buildings and churches build the bequest of one of the most outstanding Mannerist architects of the fifteenth century.
The first exercise of the course for 3rd year Architecture students, as part of the subject Project Workshop III, is aimed at the mastery of project action. As dictated by the statement of project, ''in this initial step to acquire a didactic discipline own specific requirements are coherence and dimensional adjustment. Coherence in the approach of an original idea, in its reasoned expression by means of an architectural argument and in its statement by means of an appropriate constructive syntax".
The project has helped students understand and manage concepts such as measurement, size, proportion and scale.
