The School's entrance hall "dresses up" with design

Projects of the 1st and 2nd year of Degree in design are exhibited in the entrance hall coloring the entrance of the building.

The students of design are immersed in their projects. We guide you, step by step, through those currently on display at entrance hall of the School of Architecture.

1. First, you can see the project of 2nd of design, 'Transforming', in which students have studied the neighborhood of lturrama as an ecosystem and its relationship with local commerce as part of its identity. In this study, each group has found representative characteristics of the neighborhood and how is the movement of people living in it. Each group has chosen a location and proposed a service for each store using different tools from design of services. The experience is targeted to a specific profile of Username and generates a change in the way the store connects with its exterior.

2. Near the stairs we can find the exhibition of a selection of the 'Packaging' projects that the students of the 1st year of design do at the beginning of the second year semester. It consists of creating a packaging that goes according to the fragrance assigned to them. During this project, they were assisted by their subject teachers, Kate Mawby and La Cía. La Cía is an agency based in Madrid that focuses on packaging and branding.

3. In the same area of the stairs we can find another project of 1st of design: 'Patterns'. In this case, students have total freedom to create the 'pattern' in relation to any topic, the one they prefer. This exhibition usually spends a lot of time on the entrance hall because of how eye-catching it is.

There are still two more projects to be exhibited from both the 1st and 2nd year of design. We look forward to seeing the result of their work at entrance hall.
