3rd year students from design travel to the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven.

The students of the accredited specialization of the accredited specialization in Product traveled to Eindhoven to learn a little more about design outside the School

From October 20 to 24, the students of design from accredited specialization of the accredited specialization in Product traveled to Eindhoven to visit the Dutch Design Week. The student Andrew Cavanagh tells us how he lived the experience:

"We had a great time, we are sad that our trip to the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven is over. The week of design allows the industry in the Netherlands to showcase their work. It also opens the doors of its museums, exhibitions and programs of study to the public.

As group we have been able to learn all that the exhibitions of this subject entail and learn first hand about the work that the different designers and students of design are currently focused on.

The first day of our trip we had the opportunity to conduct a workshop with BYGG Studio, a studio of design and architecture based in Eindhoven. We also did a workshop at Plug-in-city ("space that functions as a creative living lab, workshop, event space and cultural center") with two designers: Raphael Coutin and Ivo Hulskamp.

The following days we visited different exhibitions in the city and workshops focused on design. We were able to visit different museums such as the Phillips Museum and the Van Abbe Museum.

Overall, it was a fantastic trip where we were able to spend time with each other while learning a little more about design."
