Master's Degree students attend Ciclo employment opportunities session organized in partnership with Zara Home

María Blasco, student of the Master's Degree in Architecture, shares her experience with us

On February 20, students of the Master's Degree in Architecture (MUA), the Double Master's Degree in Architecture and Sustainability(MAS), and the Double Master's Degree in Architecture and Real Estate(MAR) of the postgraduate program in Madrid participated in a session of the Ciclo de employment opportunities, organized by the University of Navarra in partnership with Zara Home.

María Blasco, a student of the Master's Degree in Architecture, tells us about her experience:

"I had the opportunity to attend a session of the Ciclo de employment opportunities organized by the University of Navarra and Zara Home. We were introduced to the business and its Philosophy of work, which allowed us to learn more about the workings of one of the most important brands in the home and decoration sector.

During the talk, the speakers explained the creative and production process of their collections, highlighting the importance of creativity and attention to detail. They told us how they analyze trends, select materials and design products that combine aesthetics and functionality, thus creating unique environments for their clients' homes.

It was very interesting to discover that the same organization that we observed in the different Departments of the store is maintained in the office. In addition, they explained to us that they have different collections with different objectives: the base collection, which keeps the regular customer; the novelty collection, which motivates the customer to come and see what's new; and the collaborations, which introduce them to new worlds.

During the talk, terms such as "emotion, telling stories to customers through our official document, and creativity in everything, even when preparing an Excel" were mentioned. What they conveyed the most was team spirit, a dynamic team that, most importantly, is always looking to improve.

In the end, we had the opportunity to talk to them individually, to get to know each other better and share interests. Who knows if we will end up living in A Coruña, according to what they told us, it is very appealing! And grade seems that for the Zara Home team it is their home.

I thank the University for providing us with these experiences, which bring us closer to the reality of the working world and allow us to learn from great professionals".
