As part of the Integrated Projects teaching , the first year students of the Degree in Architecture, wrote professional architectural documents, including a set of bound plans, which were exhibited in the entrance hall of the School of Architecture. This work has been developed within the framework of the subjects Contemporary Art & Architecture, Construction Systems, Construction Physics, Geometry and Form IIlaboratory and Architectural Creation Workshop.
The goal of this exercise was to study in depth one of the masterpieces of residential architecture: the house of the architect and designer Alvar Aalto. The analysis has been approached from different points of view, such as formal, spatial, dimensional, structural, constructive, material, acoustic, among others. In addition, we have sought to familiarize students with the professional architectural language.
