Trip to Madrid for the 4th grade of design: Madrid Design Festival and meeting Alumni

The students had the opportunity to get to know, first hand, one of the establishments of the hotel company, ILUNION Atrium, where they were able to taste one of its "blind breakfasts", experiencing, first hand, the sensations and situations that blind people face every day.

The 4th year students of design made an academic visit to Madrid, where they also had the opportunity to meet companies such as Zara Home, ILUNION and Wozere.

An academic trip is always an opportunity to deepen the knowledge learned at the School and enjoy with teachers and classmates. The 4th year students of Degree at design spent a week ago a few days in Madrid, specifically from February 15 to 19. The students visited Zara Home, ILUNION Atrium and Wozere Studio, as well as the studio of sculptor Javier Viver.

In addition, they enjoyed the exhibition Madre Natura at the Fernán Gómez Center guided by the designer and professor of the School Lucas Muñoz and the curator of the exhibition, Teresa Herrero.

On Friday 17 in the afternoon, they attended the inauguration of the exhibition 'We Design', which sample works by students and graduates at design and will be on display at the Free Institution at teaching until February 26.

On the same day, the second meeting Alumni of design was held at the postgraduate program headquarters of the University in Madrid. During the dinner, they were able to exchange impressions and experiences with their former colleagues.

Finally, on Sunday they had the opportunity to attend the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and see the fashion shows: "Continuará" by REPARTO at Allianz EGO; "Error series 2.0" by Adrià Egea; 'ESPECTACULAR, ESPECTACULAR!' by Guillermo Décimo; and 'PRECIOUS DECAY' by Fátima Miñana.
